Hraparak daily journalist Koryun Simonyan applied to the “Media Advocate” initiative, noting that Ejmiatsin Deputy Mayor Arsen Petrosyan had made insulting remarks regarding him.
We contacted Koryun Simonyan. During the conversation, the journalist, referring to the incident, mentioned that the attitude of a state official is unacceptable. “Maybe as a person they don’t want media to exist, but as a state official they need to behave in a certain way. In general, do they understand what the media is, what its functions really are?”
“Media Advocate” initiative once again appeals to the Ejmiatsin mayor Diana Gasparyan, urging her to mind the behavior of her deputy, not to allow the latter to insult the journalist and the work of a journalist.
