The press was interested in Arayik Harutyunyan’s external visits: “What was the purpose of sending the RA Minister of Education and Science to a business trip to the Kingdom of Belgium (Brussels) on July 11-13, 2018 to participate in the NATO summit, when it is known that the NATO summit did not have an educational component? Or, based on which the Prime Minister included him in the RA governmental delegation? What was Arayik Harutyunyan’s own educational agenda within the framework of the NATO summit? It is clear that we are dealing with another touristic visit.”

Babken Harutyunyan wrote on his Facebook page that the Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan ignores the decision of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the Government. Regarding the obstacle of building a Field hockey playground in Gyumri, the Public Control Center NGO proposed to the Prime Minister to solve the problem by the decision of the government. Following the NGO’s proposal, the government decided on May 14 to resolve the issue and return the necessary property to the investor within 10 days. More than 15 days have passed since the deadline set by the government’s decision (10 days), but the ESCS Ministry refuses to comply with the government’s decision.
