Azatutyun TV’s November 13 issue referred to the resignation of Public Council Chairman Vazgen Manukyan.
Though the journalist noted that opinions on Vazgen Manukyan’s recent step differ, only the opinions of Public Council members Styopa Safaryan and Larisa Alaverdyan were presented in the report. Styopa Safaryan was criticising Manukyan pointing out that the mission of the organization was not to act against the government, Larisa Alaverdyan did not welcome Manukyan’s move either. In fact, there was no opinion in the report that could counterbalance the presented standpoint.
