Azatutyun TV’s November 8 issue referred to an article by Robert Kocharyan published on Sputnik Armenia. The six-minute report included only the opinions of the ruling party. Andranik Kocharyan, Ruben Rubinyan and Gayane Abrahamyan were criticizing Robert Kocharyan.
“Media Advocate” initiative emphasizes that the report was unilateral. Although it was titled as “MPs Respond to Robert Kocharyan’s Article on Sputnik Armenia”, it lacked the opinion of another parliamentary force representative. We urge the journalist to uphold the principles of journalistic ethics, in particular to ensure the multilateralism of the report.
