The articles on Lilit Makunts, the head of the “My Step” fraction of the National Assembly, are mostly neutral. There are no positive articles.

Arshak Stepanyan, the son of the painter Hrant Stepanyan, is going to file a lawsuit against the Ministry of Culture if the ministry does not pay for the three paintings formerly obtained by the Ministry.

To commemorate Hrant Stepanyan’s 100th anniversary, which was celebrated on March 20, 2018, the artist’s son Arshak Stepanyan applied to former Minister Armen Amiryan back in 2016. Eventually, they agreed to print the artist’s book-album. The artist’s son suggested that the state buys three paintings for the gallery. As a result of this purchase, the amount of money could be used for the creation of the album. According to the artist’s son, the existing agreement remained undone because Armen Amiryan resigned, and despite the fact that Lilit Makunts had assured that the former projects would not be stopped and would continue, time showed that they actually remained incomplete.

According to another publication, Vahe Grigoryan failed to defend Nikol Pashinyan within a simple court case, and now they try to make him president of the Constitutional Court. The news outlet adds: “This is the approach of new Armenia’s personnel policy, and Vahe Grigoryan’s case is one of the most vivid examples of understanding how, Nikol Pashinyan’s English teacher Lilit Makunts for example became the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Armenia and then the head of the parliamentary fraction of the NA ruling political force, or how Rustam Badasyan whom Pashinyan communicated with for several hours for getting legal aid after he was arrested during revolution, became the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.”
