On May 24, Karen Andreasyan was the guest of “Azatutyun”’s “Politics Inside” program. The headline of the program was as follows: “Hrayr Tovmasyan was a member of the RPA who was obsessed with the Mafia leaders: former ombudsman.” The guest made accusations and offensive statements during the show which were mainly addressed to the acting judiciary and judges.
When expressing an accusatory opinion, the media must also present the viewpoint of the opposite side and the journalist should refrain from guiding questions as based on ethical principles, otherwise the information provided is nothing but biased.
