A series of criticisms addressed to the Prime Minister

Negative articles on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan again prevail. This time most of the negative articles were published in two days, following Pashinyan’s call to close the court entrances.

Many lawyers, political parties, politicians and representatives of international organizations criticized the call and the actions that followed it. The lawyers pointed out that the prime minister was making the society to overthrow the constitutional order.

Pashinyan’s statement on Artsakh has also been criticized. In general, criticisms directed against Nikol Pashinyan prevail in discussions over the Artsakh issue in this ten-day period. It was also mentioned that the numbers of the IT sphere presented by the Prime Minister differ the numbers by the National Statistical Service (NSS).

The change of Robert Kocharyan’s preventive measure as a result of which he was released has also been criticized by the press. Pashinyan was accused of unprincipled behavior. News outlets note that there are no economic investments and the society considers Pashinyan’s team’s close relationship with the LGBT community unacceptable.

Thus, in this ten-day period, the prime minister has been criticized both for internal and foreign policies and pressures against the judiciary.
