From 11 to 20 April, 2019, the “Media Advocate” initiative followed online media reports on the Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Lilit Makunc’s personality and activities.
34 leading Armenian news agencies have been monitored.
In the specified period, 164 articles were declared, 23 of which were negative and 82 were neutral.
During the specified period one could not find any positive articles on Lilit Makunts. Negative articles are mainly related to the news on the so called “educative” gathering organized by “My Step” alliance. The meeting undertaken by Lilit Makunts and Hakob Arshakyan was ironically received by media outlets.
Lilit Makunts, in its turn, still continues to be perceived as a former Minister of Culture.
