From 21 to 31 March, 2019, the “Media Advocate” initiative followed online media reports on the Member of the National Assembly Lena Nazaryan’s personality and activities. 34 leading Armenian news agencies have been monitored.
In the specified period, 115 articles were declared, 9 of which were negative, 1 were positive and 105 were neutral.
The results of the monitoring show that Lena Nazarian does not make any political comments or initiatives, which in its turn determines the number of articles. The deputy speaker of the National Assembly is mentioned in the general context. Media often reminds of the fact that Lena Nazaryan’s husband was appointed as a head of the State Property Management Committee only because he has a chance to be the husband of the deputy speaker.
