“Media Advocate” initiative starts a new phase of research. Politicians will now be in our spotlight. All those articles having a reference to a selected political figure will be monitored.
This time we focused our attention on the Member of National Assembly Edmon Marukyan․
From March 1 to 10, 2019, the “Media Advocate” initiative followed online media coverage on the MP’s personality and activity. 35 leading Armenian news agencies have been monitored.
During the specified period, 80 articles were declared, 4 of which were negative, 3 were positive and 73 were neutral.
From the results of the monitoring, one can conclude that the online media coverage on Edmon Marukyan’s activity was mostly neutral and it did not receive an exact negative or positive response.
