I like to interrupt։ Petros Ghazaryan’s confession

On December 20, Petros Ghazaryan’s guests on Public TV were “My Step” fraction MP Hamazasp Danielyan, “Citizen’s Decision” party executive body member Mikayel Nahapetyan, “Bright Armenia” party MP Karen Simonyan, “Heritage” party board chairwoman Narine Dilbaryan. The topic was the reform of the law on parties. The commentator regularly interrupted the guests, expressed his point of view.

Addressing the deputy of the “Bright Armenia” party, the commentator noted: “Now there is a political crisis and people are offering an alternative to the current government. Logically the candidate of your party should have been more primary than Vazgen Manukyan, because you represent a parliamentary force, they don’t, but they have a lot of money, a lot of media resources, you do not have any media resources, you have almost no money, they are the main candidate.” Then, addressing Narine Dilbaryan, he said: “I want to talk about the “Heritage” party: Raffi Hovannisian, had money, some charisma, he achieved some success, after Hovannisian left, the party is almost non-existent in our political life, because you represent that part and you have no money.” Mrs. Dilbaryan tried to answer: “The problem is that not only do I not have money when I came to the party…” Petros Ghazaryan interrupted: “There was no money anymore,” “If there is money, there is a party, there is no money, there is no party.”

“My Step” fraction MP Hamazasp Danielyan touched upon the issue of finances, after which the commentator continued: “The problem is not only the finances, unfortunately in Armenia the expression of party activity is discredited, it is associated with greed, in the bad sense with careerism. They will repeat what their leader said. “Party affiliation does not spoil a person.” Narine Dilbaryan interrupted: “But Petros, it does not spoil everyone, why do you generalize?” The host answered: “Mrs. Dilbaryan, you do not have a party, let you have a little bit of power, the same story will be with you, everyone left, you were left in a proud solitude.” The pro-government MP angrily stated: “I do not like to interrupt,” Petros Ghazaryan mocked: “I like to.”
