During the briefing in the National Assembly of Armenia, RA NA deputy Hayk Sargsyan, showed disrespect towards journalists.
Denying the news that his shirt costs $ 1,500, he offered the journalist to buy it for $ 100. The deputy continued his cynical approach, calling all the journalists liars.
“Media Advocate” initiative considers Hayk Sargsyan’s such behaviour unacceptable; we urge the MP not to go beyond the bounds of politeness and not to strain the already tense atmosphere. Such statements are not appropriate for a government MP, which does nothing but increases the growing distrust of him.
