Democratic presidential nominee Joseph Biden believes that “it is high time for Trump to work directly with the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Turkey to achieve an immediate de-escalation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and an end to Azerbaijan’s offensive.”

During the briefing, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated that Russia is deeply concerned about the increasing involvement of mercenaries from the Middle East in the Karabakh conflict.

One of the analyses notes: “The United States and Russia, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries, act as sparing-partners in relation to the Artsakh Issue. As a result, there is a probability that Turkey will lose its control of the military actions in Nagorno-Karabakh. In such circumstances, the best option for Aliyev is the return of negotiations and the revival of the initial principles of conflict settlement.”
