On September 30, the “60 minutes in hot pursuit” program broadcast on “Russia 1” TV Channel, referred to the situation in Artsakh and Armenia. One of the speakers mentioned that Armenia applies double standards, the time has come to realize that the leading positions in Armenia, including in the law enforcement agencies, are occupied by the so-called Soros related people. The host continued that the US Embassy in Armenia is the largest in the post-Soviet space, with an area of 900 thousand square meters. In another context, the host noted that there is no Russian broadcast in Armenia. Vladimir Zhirinovsky recalled the history that when Russia did not even exist, Urartu did. He showed with a map that even the toponyms of Artsakh are Armenian. He told the young Turkologist that though they both have graduated from the same university, his diploma was a diploma with honour, that all the places he mentioned, he himself visited, and the young man got acquainted with them via Wikipedia. The program was not neutral, the speakers deviated from the topic, and the presenters did not try to return them to the main topic, that is to a war going on in Artsakh and to a fact that Azerbaijan has also targeted Armenia.
