The Public TV and RFE/RL’s Armenian Service (Azatutyun) did not refer to the incident between the police and the journalists in front of the National Assembly. Some media outlets disseminated a video where the police did not allow the journalists to shoot a video in the yard of the National Assembly, hindering their professional work. These two media outlets, however, did not refer to the incident. “Media Advocate” initiative regularly reports that these two media outlets bypass the problematic topics in order to please the authorities and present them in a positive light. We urge to put the public interest above political preferences and present the exact situation.
