No positive articles were published on Zaruhi Batoyan

From 21 to 31 May, 2020, the “Media Advocate” initiative followed online media reports on the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Zaruhi Batoyan’s personality and activities. 35 leading Armenian news agencies have been monitored.

In the specified period, 123 articles were declared, 49 of which were negative and 74 were neutral.

No positive articles were published on the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Zaruhi Batoyan.

According to the publications, Zaruhi Batoyan’s relative, who is the head of the Social Service at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, received a bonus of about 1 million drams: “Amirshhadyan is endowed with special privileges. She recently got married, spent her honeymoon in Italy. After returning from Italy, she was isolated for two weeks, and did not go to work. Nevertheless, she has received not only her fixed salary but also a bonus of about 1 million drams.”

According to media reports, rumors are being spread in the government circles that Minister Batoyan will resign soon.
