RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan remains in the center of criticism. The conflict between the former chairman of the SCC (Supreme Certifying Committee) Smbat Gogyan and ESCS Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, continues. Biophysicist Sasun Gevorgyan, referring to that topic, noted: “According to international standards, he has received the most common scientific result, although he defended his doctorate at the age of thirty-seven, and I don’t want to refer to this anymore. He was the only one who one could talk to, the rest – Arayik Harutyunyan, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan simply have no idea what science is, and of course they have no vision of its development.

According to media outlets, by the decision of the Commandant Tigran Avinyan, in the conditions of emergency state, the vulnerable groups that is, the ones with chronic diseases and the old people may work remotely from home. Armenian National Academy of Sciences, many state institutions have shifted to this working regime since March 17. The same, as far as we know, was in case of the ministries. According to the information received, Minister Arayik Harutyunyan instructed everyone to go to work since May 18. People were puzzled; “Doesn’t the coronavirus affect the employees of the ESCS Ministry?”

Referring to domestic political issues and the government’s personnel policy, the news outlet noted: “It’s interesting, didn’t the Prime Minister regret making Hayk Marutyan the mayor of Yerevan?” Isn’t it obvious that he was one of the most unsuccessful mayors of Yerevan and Yerevan didn’t deserve to have such a leader? Or is he satisfied with the ESCS Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, on whose shoulders he put two more spheres, without thinking that he doesn’t even handle the first two? As for the Civil Contract party member governors; is he satisfied for example, with the governors of Lori, Armavir or Vayots Dzor? Every day we are told the most bizarre stories of their activities.
