The right to speak, to move and to be in opposition is being persecuted in Armenia

When gathered in support of Arthur Danielyan, supporters of the Adekvad Congregation Head Arthur Danielyan were detained on May 20, despite the fact that they were keeping the rules of a social distance.

Such manifestations of power prove the fact that only dissidents and those who have contrary opinions are being persecuted and arrested. No force supporting the government has ever been subjected to liability even after calls for violence.

The right to speak, to move and to be is opposition from now on is being persecuted in Armenia․

The authorities are using the current state of emergency to their advantage and are trying to ban any kind of protests. In fact, there is no Emergency State Armenia or any other restrictions, they are exclusively of a political character at the moment and are a convenient tool for the government.
