During his press conference, when answering the question of 168.am news agency, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan labeled the news outlet, calling it the media outlet of the Republican authorities.
“Media Advocate” initiative considers such an assessment of the news agency, unacceptable and urges to stop differentiating the news outlets. The vicious practice of dividing the media into insiders and outsiders cannot contribute to the unity of the journalistic community and to the unhindered work of specialists and organizations operating in that field.
Any news outlet may ask a question, and those questions should not be reasons for an inappropriate assessment of the work of this or that media outlet.
