RA NA Deputy Mkhitar Hayrapetyan made an accusation against the media during his today’s speech in the National Assembly. According to the deputy, under former government, several departments had partners who covered the work done by the officials and were paid for it.
This is another unaddressed accusation made by the authorities and the representatives of the ruling party towards the media. Mkhitar Hayrapetyan along with Nikol Pashinyan and Alen Simonyan actually continues their unaddressed publications. The representatives of the government did not present any facts that could prove their words.
“Media Advocate” initiative urges Mkhitar Hayrapetyan to make targeted accusations, to reveal the possible corruption chains, otherwise not to discredit the media and stop making general, unfounded and unaddressed accusations. We urge the MP to respect the work of the press and not to label it.
