According to Alen Simonyan, 50% of media reports are false

RA NA Vice Speaker Alen Simonyan, in fact, continues NikolPashinyan’s practice of making unaddressed accusations regarding media. After the party’s session, Alen Simonyan accused 90% of the media outlets of making money by means of choosing “interesting headlines”. According to Alen Simonyan, 50% of publications are simply false.

“Media Advocate” initiative urges Alen Simonyan, the high-ranking representative of the RA Legislative Body to name those news outlets that, according to the NA vice-speaker, earn money through so called  interesting headlines. Unaddressed and unfounded accusations do not contribute to freedom of speech. The media field is not something unfamiliar to Alen Simonyan, as he used to work in that field. A high-ranking state official should realize that such unsubstantiated statements discredit the press and the people working in that very sphere, thus dividing the media field.

In fact, Alen Simonyan and Nikol Pashinyan are making accusations against their former colleagues.

The police must deal with the unaddressed crime reports voiced by two high-ranking officials.
