Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has been making unaddressed accusations regarding media for two consecutive days. He accuses the media outlets and journalists of writing articles by order and money. Besides being a moral blow, such allegations, also seriously damage the professional credit and business of the entire media field.
“Media Advocate” initiative urges the RA Prime Minister to clearly reveal the 99% of the news outlets that, according to the Prime Minister, worked by order. Such media outlets, besides being subjected to criminal liability, will also be reprimanded by the entire society and their partners.
We urge the RA Police to attentively follow the Prime Minister’s call and to deal with all the media outlets that are especially accused of extortion and to try to get the names of those media from the Prime Minister.
