According to Narek Samsonyan, Head of the “Civic Consciousness” NGO, the mayor of every big city in the world communicates with the citizens. “Hayk Marutyan does not feel the responsibility of the mayor. In an interview with Yerkir.am, Sargis Karapetyan, a member of the ARF Yerevan City Committee, noted that Hayk Marutyan’s lexicon did not suit the mayor of Yerevan and, in general, did not suit anyone. “So, let’s start with his live, where he tried to introduce himself to the people and noted that he works from morning to night and is not going to show it off via Facebook lives. We would like to remind the mayor that now the whole world is governed by means of lives, even the G20 summit was held online, now people need more information and he, as the elected mayor of a city of one million, who received 80 percent of the vote, must use lives every day and to inform the public about the steps he has taken.”
