Օn March 30, “Media Advocate” Initiative monitored the work of the Commandant’s office with the media in emergency situation.
The National Assembly in the first reading, with 57 for, 24 against and 1 abstention, adopted the Draft Laws on Amendments to the RA Law on Legal Regime of State of Emergency and the Law on Electronic Communication. The project envisages the collection of movement, calls and SMS data of customers receiving public electronic communications services.
“Media Advocate” Initiative also highlighted the articles on the coronavirus and coronavirus-related issues appearing in the media on March 30. As a result of today’s monitoring, the featured articles were reviewed and no removed publications were found, except for the above-mentioned.
