On March 7, Public Television Allocated 13 Minutes 5 Seconds to the Topic of the Constitutional Referendum

On March 7, the Public Television of Armenia, operating at the expense of taxpayers, allocated 13 minutes 5 seconds to the topic of the constitutional referendum, 7 minutes 40 seconds of which were allocated to the supporters of the “NO” campaign, 5 minutes 25 seconds to the “YES” supporters, no neutral remarks were presented. The Public TV also aired “YES” and “NO” campaign video clips of up to 1-minute duration each.

In a conversation with Public Television reporter Anush Muradyan, Ruben Melikyan, coordinator of the “NO” campaign headquarters, referred to the situation of the confidants who will represent their side at the referendum (6 minutes 40 seconds): “We have already received applications yesterday, and we will begin processing them as soon as the deadline expires. I think we will be able to exercise effective control during the voting day.”

Reference was made to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s speech delivered during the campaign (4 minutes 15 seconds). The Prime Minister emphasized that the April 5 referendum is very important for the future of the country, that is, the last stage of the revolution must be realized.
