On February 24, Public Television allocated 16 minutes 52 seconds to the topic of Constitutional Referendum

On February 24, the Public Television of Armenia allocated 16 minutes 52 seconds to the topic of the constitutional referendum, 11 minute and 36 seconds of which were allocated to the supporters of the “NO” campaign, 50 seconds to the “Yes” supporters and 4 minutes were neutral remarks. The Public TV also aired “YES” and “NO” campaign video clips of up to 1-minute duration each.

Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Bureau representative Hakob Ter-Khachaturyan’s speech (10 minutes 32 seconds) was aired on the Public Television. In his speech, Ter-Khachaturyan urged to say “No” to the referendum. According to him, the referendum is a wrong method to replace the judges of the Constitutional Court. “We do not consider the whole process as legitimate,” he added.
