“Media Advocate” urges to take into account the unilateral manipulation of the facts presented in the Public TV’s report

Yesterday, after the news of Georgi Kutoyan’s death, a stream of opinions appeared in the media, which was also addressed by “Media Advocate” initiative.

In this mess, the Public Television of Armenia also behaved improperly as its report was highly politicized and it did not refer to Georgi  Kutoyan’s activity but entirely to the so-called scandalous episodes: the headline  of the report also showed the biased sense of it.

“Media Advocate” Initiative urges the NCTR (National Commission on Television and Radio) to be consistent and to take into account the unilateral manipulation of the facts presented in the report below, and to initiate an appropriate steps as the Public Television does not hear the public demand, despite the fact that it is funded by public funds.
