“Media Advocate” Initiative was informed that the journalists of the 5th Channel conducted a live stream of the childbirth process at Achajur Maternity Hospital, after which Minister Arsen Torosyan expressed deep concern over the happening and criticized 5th Channel’s work.
The 5th Channel released a statement in this regard: “The journalist and the cameraman of the 5th Channel received the permission of the head of the Achajur Health Center and the written consent of the woman in labour to cover the delivery process.”
