During Azatutyn TV’s November 21 issue, Serzh Sargsyan’s speech at the European People’s Party (EPP) congress has been again unilaterally presented. This time, along with the NA Vice Speaker Alen Simonyan’s speech, the comment of political scientist Styopa Safaryan was also presented. In fact, the extensive report was made with the same logic as it was presented the day before. No comment from any Republican Party Representative was presented.
“Media Advocate” initiative considers such practice unacceptable. We again urge Azatutyun to maintain neutrality in their reports and not be guided by political preferences but journalistic principles.
