98% of articles on Naira Zohrabyan are neutral

From 11 to 20 August, 2019, the “Media Advocate” initiative followed online media reports on the Member of the National Assembly Naira Zohrabyan’s personality and activities. 35 leading Armenian news agencies have been monitored.

In the specified period, 109 articles were declared, 1 of which was positive, 1 was negative and 107 were neutral.

During the recent award ceremony of “Media Advocate” Initiative, Naira Zohrabyan, MP from the PAP faction of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, was recognized as the Most Positively Covered Politician according to the results of the monitoring.

There are not almost any positive or negative articles on Naira Zohrabyan during this ten-day period. The political field is resting. 98% of articles on Naira Zohrabyan are neutral which shows that the deputy is working. There is no feedback from the rest of the political field.

Mrs. Zohrabyan has visited hospitals, the MP continues to deal with health issues of military servicemen and regularly raises issues existing in the field. Naira Zohrabyan also shows activity in relation to Amulsar. She regularly visits the places where protesters against Amulsar mine exploitation gather and expresses her support for the protesters. N. Zohrabyan noted that she is not for exploitation of the Amulsar gold mine.

Mrs. Zohrabyan also criticized the closing of the entrance of the National Assembly Park. According to her, “if it used to belong to the people in the past, whom does it belong to now”? The press reports that Mrs. Zohrabyan regularly visits and also deals with the situation in penitentiary institutions.

According to press reports, Mrs. Zohrabyan also dealt with the issue of garbage disposal in Yerevan and had various meetings.
