The RA National Assembly Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan remains in the spotlight of criticism. The intention to change the “Charter and Structure of the NA Staff” has been a matter of criticism during this ten-day period.
According to the press release, as a result of these changes, 54 employees of the National Assembly will become unemployed. The press notes that when initiating these changes there has been no discussion with international organizations.
Reactions to Ararat Mirzoyan’s visit to the United States have been matters of discussion in the press for a long time. This visit did not have any positive outcomes for Ararat Mirzoyan. According to the ARF representative Kiro Manoyan, “Ararat Mirzoyan had left for the US to attend the event of the House of Representatives. Vice Prime Minister Avinyan and Foreign Minister Mnatsakanyan were there on the same day, but the most important question is whether they have spoken on this issue or not. That question is not clear. It is not as if the Armenian-American relations are being deteriorated, all this proves that the US authorities have taken a position to satisfy Azerbaijan on Artsakh issue. If the Armenian authorities are guided the same way as in the case of France, it means that they have not been able to do anything, they have simply not taken steps, they have not dealt with it, which is wrong. ”
