Public Radio of Armenia should refrain from political preferences

The Public Radio of Armenia carries out its activities at the expense of public funds and in accordance with the Law on Television and Radio, it is obliged to refrain from political preferences, without predilection to any political organization or individual.

The public-funded organization has published an article with obvious political preference and advertised the material on Facebook using the public funds. This fact is obviously controversial with the law and ethics, so the “Media Advocate” demands the National Commission on Television and Radio and the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Council to provide adequate explanations on the issue and undertake measures to preserve the law and the ethics norms.
