From 11 to 20 April, 2019, the “Media Advocate” initiative followed online media reports on the Member of the National Assembly Naira Zurabyan’s personality and activities. 34 leading Armenian news agencies have been monitored.
In the specified period, 182 articles were declared, 7 of which were negative, 13 were positive and 240 were neutral.
Positive articles on MP Naira Zohrabyan prevail this time. Hrachya Hakobyan, the colleague of Mrs. Zohrabyan, is the main purpose of negative articles. Hrachya Hakobyan criticized PAP faction representative: “Which one do you consider more important, having a “Citizen day” or a “Cinema Day”,” Hrachya Hakobyan asked. Mrs. Zohrabyan was also criticized for her critical approach to Hayk Marutyan.
