Members of the ARF Supreme Body and MPs of the “My Step” faction were invited to the debate which was released on the 2nd of May within the frameworks of the program “Yst Eutyan” (In fact). The debate was titled as follows “Dashnaktsutyun alerts”.
From the first moments of the debate, the ARF members were asked provocative questions. The focus was on the fact that during the parliamentary elections ARF managed to get only 4% of the overall votes. They somehow made ARF “quietly sit in its place” (popular saying by Pashinyan) that is not do anything (0: 49-3: 00, 3: 00-4: 19).
The ARF was also reminded of the mistakes of the past (33:49, 39: 40-40: 14).
Meanwhile, the attitude towards the members of the “My Step” faction was quite soft and there were no provocative questions. One of the questions raised in the show linked with the phrase “The murderer was caught” was left with no answer by “My Step” (34: 52-35-09). It was obvious that the hostess demonstrated impartiality during the discussion on corruption (41:29), which is unacceptable in terms of impartiality.
One may conclude that the balance of the program was broken. There was a pressure and a negative attitude toward one side. It turned out that the representatives of the government reacted sharply to the criticism.
