Who wants to weaken the PAP?

From 21 to 30 April, 2019, the “Media Advocate” initiative followed online media reports on the Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Gagik Tsarukyan’s personality and activities.

34 leading Armenian news agencies have been monitored.

In the specified period, 368 articles were declared, 95 of which were negative, 3d were positive and 239 were neutral.

Negative articles on MP Gagik Tsarukyan began to be published after Gagik Tsarukyan was accused of being engaged in entrepreneurial activity. The “Citizen’s Decision” party, as it is known, applied to the prosecutor’s office to deprive the deputy of the mandate. Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) denies rumors about Tsarukyan’s entrepreneurial activity. The PAP is the second largest parliamentary faction in the parliament which has it’s say in the political arena. This force can have its influence on decision-making. According to media reports, all this is done in order to weaken the PAP.

Let us remind you that “CD” party is related to the name of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, according to  some rumors.
