From 11 to 20 April, 2019, the “Media Advocate” initiative followed online media reports on the Member of the National Assembly Lena Nazaryan’s personality and activities. 34 leading Armenian news agencies have been monitored.
In the specified period, 97 articles were declared, 18 of which were negative, 1 were positive and 78 were neutral.
There are almost no positive articles on the NA Vice-Speaker. According to the monitoring results, Lena Nazaryan is not a matter of interest for news agencies. During the specified ten-day period, only 97 articles have been collected. Most of the negative articles are related to Lena Nazaryan-Gevorg Petrosyan debate. According to Gevorg Petrosyan, Lena Nazaryan has been sarcastic when addressing him, so he invited her to debate. In fact, such interpersonal conflicts among political parties become more and more popular.
