From 11 to 20 April, 2019, the “Media Advocate” initiative followed online media reports on the RA Minister of Health, Arsen Torosyan’s personality and activities.
34 leading Armenian news agencies have been monitored.
In the specified period, 141 articles were declared, 11 of which were negative, 2 were positive and 128 were neutral.
Negative articles on Arsen Torosyan were related to Davit Sanasaryan’s case. The media outlets insist that Arsen Torosyan “stands behind” the case against David Sanasaryan. Moreover, the news outlets raise a question: “How comes that the deputy minister is being punished for taking a bribe in case Arsen Torosyan is not?”.
