From 11 to 20 April, 2019, the “Media Advocate” initiative followed online media reports on the Member of the National Assembly Naira Zurabyan’s personality and activities. 34 leading Armenian news agencies have been monitored.
In the specified period, 281 articles were declared, 21 of which were negative, 20 were positive and 240 were neutral.
Mrs. Zohrabyan remains a subject of hot discussions. During the specified period the tense incident between transgender women and MP has even been criticized by international organizations. It’s noteworthy that recent discussions on Mrs. Zohrabyan’s activities lack political commentary: moreover, they represent evaluations only on the very same incident.
