During the monitoring conducted on the social networks and the online media, “Media Advocate” initiative comes across some posts in which journalists express dissatisfaction with the behavior of state officials when they first promise, but then refuse to be interviewed and give any comments.
This is an alarming fact: If the state officials avoid from contacts with journalists, neglect questions raised by them, it may be perceived by the public as a tendency to conceal the existing problems.
The “Media Advocate” urges state officials to exclude such kind of approach and respect the work of journalists.
