From 21 to 31 March, 2019, the “Media Advocate” initiative followed online media reports on the Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Lilit Makunc’s personality and activities.
34 leading Armenian news agencies have been monitored.
In the specified period, 277 articles were declared, 36 of which were negative, 0 were positive and 241 were neutral.
According to the results of the monitoring, Lilit Makunc is not perceived as a member of parliament yet, the criticism over the current head of ruling “My Step” faction is mainly related to the ongoing situation in the sphere of culture. According to the press, the neglected state in the field of culture and the recent happenings arose during her administration․ Furthermore, she still controls the happenings in the ministry.
