“Media Advocate” initiative starts a new phase of research. Politicians will now be in our spotlight. All those articles having a reference to a selected political figure will be monitored.
This time we focused our attention on The President of Armenia, Armen Sargsyan.
From March 1 to 10, 2019, the “Media Advocate” initiative followed online media coverage on the President’s personality and activity. 35 leading Armenian news agencies have been monitored.
During the specified period, 738 articles were declared, 15 of which were negative, 13 were positive and 710 were neutral.
When summarizing the results of the monitoring, it became clear that the source of the only negative article on president was the news agency close to the legislature.
