916 articles including Nikol Pashinyan’s name were estimated as negative

“Media Advocate” initiative starts a new phase of research. Politicians will now be in our spotlight. All those articles having a reference to a selected political figure will be monitored.

This time we focused our attention on The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.

From March 1 to 10, 2019, the “Media Advocate” initiative followed online media coverage on the PM’s personality and activity. 35 leading Armenian news agencies have been monitored.

During the specified period, 3099 articles were declared, 916 of which were negative, 263 were positive and 1920 were neutral.

From the results of the monitoring, one can conclude that the Prime Minister has received a negative evaluation because of the Artsakh ISSUE, PM’s wife Anna Hakobyan’s activity and the upcoming changes in the tax field.
